Porquier Beau French faience footed compote decorated with figural swan handle, garlands in the Nevers-style, shell blason of Quimper, a Breton resting with a scythe in a field on side and a Bretonne with basket of fruit on the other; ht 10 1/2". c. 1875-1905. LITERATURE: Chateau, pg 80. CONDITION: 2 small areas of glaze skipping see picture, commom to Porquier Beau.
