Rare Porquier Beau Quimper "Legende Breton" plate, "La Fee Des Eaux" Breton folklore tale of a young man, Houarn, trapped by the Water Fairy on the Isle of Lok along with her former lovers. Houran’s beloved, Bellah, goes to the island and rescues him; diameter 9 3/4" circa 1915-1930. CONDITION: Quimper has propensity to have minor chips, glaze loss/wear and crazing.
