Description
Porquier Beau French faience serving piece in form of knotted dinner napkin, has two toned arabesque edges flanking an interior Blason of Brittany, sides have a scene of mother and daughter and one of fisherman and young daughter; ht. 7 1/2" circa 1875-1905. LITERATURE: Tome II page 411 Planche No 6 "Pont l’Abbe and page 407 Planche 2 "Douarnenez". CONDITION: Quimper has propensity to have minor chips, glaze loss/wear and crazing.
