Malicorne LeRoy Dubois plate decorated with loop and dot motif with sprigs of ajonc and bruyere and a scene of a wife waving goodbye to her fisherman husband and a verse "Long did the sailor’s wife linger on the jetty, the island is far away. Gentle Queen of the Waves protect the fishermen and our dear loved ones who pray to you with all their hearts"; diameter 9 3/4" circa 1899-1914. CONDITION: Quimper has propensity to have minor chips, glaze loss/wear and crazing. Jaremos attempts to call any material flaw that affects the price but some items may have missed our attention.
